SubSonic Bluetooth Speaker

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

The SubSonic Bluetooth / Manual speaker is a portable Bluetooth speaker with full clear sound.

It's surprisingly heavy with a substantial feel to it. You know right away there's something to it and that it's not a cheap piece of plastic. You're even more convinced when you feel the bass.

I listened the first time using the cable connected to my laptop with Pandora. Cake channel in case you were wondering. ☺.

The volume in tethered mode is really precise and a tiny tick up on the laptop was instantly reflected in the speaker. I couldn't max out the volume due to well, the volume :) I'm sure it would go higher but I'm old and don't like that sort of thing any more.

The actual sound is like it's coming from a much larger speaker, not quite surround but still a nice full range without any crackling or static or other noise.

Pairing to my Galaxy Note 3 took about 10 seconds with most of that time used getting to the Bluetooth screen on my phone.

It took a few calls to get used to the speaker phone aspect but only because I hadn't read the directions all the way through yet so I wasn't up on the super easy push and hold action.

Listen for up to 12 hours after 2 hours (ish) of charging using the included multi use cable with a micro USB port.

Visually it's beautiful. Clean lines, great size and a luxurious looking matte finish, it reminds me of executive desk furniture.

I LOVE it, as much as I love it's big brother the Rover, another Bluetooth wonder. The packaging is nice as well, not overdone, no extra or wasteful parts and it comes complete with helpful words of wisdom which I always appreciate.
